In 2006 a small group of Blues music lovers got together and decided to do their part to "Keep the Blues Alive." It began by supporting and promoting local Blues bands as well as the clubs who brought this genre of music to their stages. A weekly list of the bands and where they were playing was created and distributed via e-mail to a handful of people and has grown to include a 1460+ fan mailing list, this web site, Facebook page and YouTube channel

In 2010 we became an affiliate of the International Blues Foundation. As part of that organization, we have held successful Blues Music competitions and sent local artists to Memphis to compete with performers from across the globe. We also supported the “Raise the Roof” campaign for construction of a Blues Hall of Fame in Memphis, TN.
